James Petty joins First Landmark Bank

MILTON, Ga. — First Landmark Bank President and CEO Stan Kryder recently announced the hiring of veteran mortgage officer James Petty as Vice President of Business Development and Market Expansion.

Since 2006, Petty has served in managerial roles and as a mortgage originator in mortgage companies with an affordable lending focus. He is recognized throughout the region for his many efforts in the areas of affordable lending, community outreach and buyer education.

Petty currently serves as Chairman of the Georgia Housing Alliance and has served as the Chairman for the Bank on Atlanta Initiative, which works directly with the National League of Cities. In 2013 he received the Georgia Housing Alliance LISTA Corporate Citizen for Affordable Housing award.

Petty has devoted more than 22 years in assisting communities develop financial education platforms on how to build family wealth and community stabilization.

He has developed training modules to help diverse, low and moderate income borrowers utilize resources to become sufficient and successful long-term homeowners.

Petty graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing.
